Upstairs are 3 bedrooms; the large main bedroom with a King-size bed, a smaller room with 2 ¾ beds and a third bedroom with 4 ¾ bunk beds. Each bed has luxurious percale linen and each bedroom offers extra blankets and pillows. The beautiful upstairs bathroom, with freestanding tub, was recently renovated. Bath and hand towels are provided. The fourth bedroom is a private flatlet with its own entrance. It is located next to the pool, and offers a comfortable double bed and modern en-suite bathroom. All bathrooms are equipped with soap, toilet paper and cleaning essentials.

The living room’s comfortable couches are perfect for nights in while you Netflix and chill. Or enjoy a board game with the family. Toys for the little ones are also provided. 

The home is fully fenced and offers an outdoor play area complete with jungle gym and slide for the little ones. There is ample, off-street parking available, ensuring your peace of mind while you stay.

The Whale House is located on Sedgefield Island, which is a nature conservancy on its own. This quaint little island is home to the native Angulate tortoise. During the summer, you’ll find lots of these beautiful small tortoises wandering the island and and a variety of birds for the enthusiastic walker, jogger and cyclist to enjoy. The Island is also an ideal fishing spot!

Situated only 300m from the Swartvlei Lagoon, this beautiful home has everything you need for a well-deserved getaway. The open-plan downstairs area houses a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, spacious living room and bar. There is also a bathroom with shower. A spiral staircase leads up to the second floor. The living room opens up to an outside patio area with a large, comfortable couch and BBQ grill. From here, steps lead you down to the pool and fire pit areas.

The home’s modern open-plan kitchen, with a granite counter is equipped with all the necessary appliances to prepare and cook delicious meals. The kitchen offers a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, toaster and washing machine. The Whale House kitchen is fully stocked with cups, glasses and wine glasses, crockery and cutlery, as well as pots and pans and eating utensils for the kids.
